The Projects Department
A dedicated department to driving community change through sustainable economic empowerment impactful initiatives.

Establishment
The Projects Department at Tanzania Assemblies of God (TAG) Beacon Mission Christian Center (BMCC) was established in 2021 in response to the national church’s call to implement the 13-year Revival Fire strategic plan, and it serves to advance the vision, mission, and direction of the local church.
By God’s grace, the department has been led by several capable leaders, including former Director Yohana Masanja, who completed his term in July 2025. It is currently led by Brother Francis Elias, who continues to guide its mission forward.
Our Ambition & Focus
Our ambition is to become a center of holistic community transformation through sustainable economic empowerment and impactful development projects. We achieve this by managing income-generating activities and community initiatives that improve livelihoods and promote self-reliance.
Our work focuses on two key areas: Community Economic Empowerment—through business initiatives, support for education, social welfare, agriculture, and entrepreneurship training—and Institutional Strengthening, which involves building a professional Projects Department, standardizing project management systems, and pursuing partnerships and funding opportunities.
Key Projects & Commitment
Our current portfolio for 2026–2027 includes four key initiatives: managing Shekinah Pre and Primary School and a laboratory facility under Education Support; supporting the “Beacon Teens Challenge” program under Social Welfare; implementing a banana farming project under Agriculture; and launching new ventures such as a retail shop and a community financial services group.
We are committed to transparency, accountability, and effective management through regular audits, close project monitoring, and active community involvement, while equipping individuals with the skills and resources needed for a sustainable future.

Building a Sustainable BMCC Together
In conclusion, the Projects Department remains committed to advancing the church’s vision through strategic, impactful, and sustainable initiatives that transform lives and communities. By focusing on economic empowerment, institutional strengthening, and key projects in education, social welfare, agriculture, and entrepreneurship, we continue to promote self-reliance and holistic development.
Guided by transparency, accountability, and active community involvement, we strive to build a strong foundation for lasting impact and a sustainable future.
